Hot Mulled Cider #2 Recipe

A delicious recipe for Hot Mulled Cider #2, with apple cider, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, oranges and cloves. Also lists similar drink recipes.

Ingredients Needed:

8 cups apple cider
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 ground nutmeg
6 inches cinnamon sticks
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cloves
8 thin oranges slices
8 cloves

Serving Tips:

Combine apple cider/juice, brown sugar, and nutmeg in a large saucepan. Place cinnamon, allspice, and cloves in a cheesecloth and tie. Add to cider mixture, and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove spice bag and discard. Serve mixture in mugs with a clove-studded orange wedge in each.
